What we collect, why, and your choices.
Last updated: 5 October 2026
Sats On The Road is a grassroots Bitcoin campaign run by BitKwa. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the trip, answer you, and let you join the waitlist. This page explains what we collect, why, and how to have it removed.
Sats On The Road is operated by BitKwa. For any privacy question or request, email bitkwaofficial@gmail.com.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our analytics are cookieless. Your browser's local storage is used only for small conveniences, such as remembering that you dismissed the privacy notice, your language choice, and safely holding a waitlist entry if your connection drops so it can be sent when you are back online. This data stays on your device.
To run the site we use a small number of trusted services, each with its own privacy policy: Vercel (hosting and analytics), Google (the Sheet and script behind the waitlist), Formspree (contact form delivery), Geyser (Bitcoin donations), Audiomack (the music player), and CoinGecko (the live price ticker). We never sell your data, and we only share what a service needs to do its job.
We keep waitlist and contact details for as long as the campaign is active and for a reasonable period afterward to follow up. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you by emailing bitkwaofficial@gmail.com. To remove a Wall of Support message, email us with the name and text and we will take it down.
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date above.
